Rachel Weeks is a STOTT PILATES instructor certified in Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrels. She has also completed the workshop in Injuries and Special Populations. Rachel was first exposed to the benefit of STOTT PILATES as a ballet student in her hometown of Memphis. She continued to practice Pilates while receiving her B.A. in Communication from Northwestern University with an emphasis in theater performance and a minor in dance. Upon graduation, Rachel began her instructor training with the hope of spreading this truly transformative method of exercise to others.

Rachel encourages her clients to understand the fundamentals behind the exercises while offering challenging and creative variations for her students. She is constantly amazed by how much Pilates can increase mobility and improve movement awareness. “My proudest moment as an instructor is when a student has absorbed the feeling of a healthy alignment so well that they can begin to self adjust before I can offer my guidance. It is incredibly rewarding to take a step back and appreciate individual progress.” For her personal fitness routine, Rachel practices yoga and Pilates and takes dance classes from ballet to swing to cardio dance fitness.  Rachel is an avid arts enthusiast who enjoys seeing theater, dance, visual art, and music performances about town and in the Chicagoland area.
